Marguerite Is Traveling To Philadelphia

I have just found out that my portrait of Marguerite has been accepted as a finalist (one of twenty) in the Portrait Society of America's International Portrait Competition.  I'm pleased and honored that the painting will be on display May 24-27 at the annual "Art of the Portrait Conference" held this year in Philadelphia.  I'll be going as her chaperone.

    Wonderful honor, James. Margueritte is a beautiful painting. The silken hair, soft skin tones are gorgeous and so lifelike, and the way you captured the detail in the embroidered dress is incredible. I am hoping Margueritte wins the competition. Congratulations!
