This sheep barn is just a short walk from where we live.  I anticipate painting it in all weathers and times of day -- and sometimes I'll include the sheep.

Mossy Tree

As I was driving along the road one wintry morning, I saw this tree illuminated by the first rays of the sun and I just knew I had to paint it.

I pass by this madrone tree every day on my way to and from my studio.  When it is illuminated by the afternoon sun it never fails to stop me in my tracks.

Old Schoolroom / New Studio

A recent cross-country move to Whidbey Island, Washington has prompted the need for a new studio.  I've converted the old arts and crafts room in a former middle school to my new work space.  It feels good to be back to work!
