Caroline Progression


Here's how the portrait of Caroline progressed.

Below is my photo reference for the portrait.  (I felt I should remove the footwear.)

    1. Thank you, Rogeiro. I use titanium white, cadmium lemon, cad yellow medium, yellow ochre, cad red light, permanent rose, burnt sienna, viridian, cerulean, cobalt blue and ultramarine blue (Winsor Newton and Utrecht brands).

  4. So very lovely! How did you go about "removing her footwear," if I may ask? I notice you changed the lighting around her feet as well. Did you have another reference photo to work from?

    1. Thank you, Coleen. Fortunately I did have some other reference with bare feet, otherwise it would have been a three-quarter length portrait!
