Frog Fountain Finished

"TCU Commons"   30" x 40"   Oil

I've finished this painting of the Texas Christian University Commons.  Not that long ago this area used to be a parking lot but is now one of the focal points of the campus.  It's a great architectural space and if you haven't seen it I would recommend a visit.  I'm pleased that the university has acquired this painting and it will hang in one of the buildings near the fountain.

  1. Wonderful painting, James, and it couldn't have a better home than a prominent spot at TCU near the fountain. I especially like the late afternoon / or early morning shadow cast by the bike . . . and the water droplets. What a relaxing, warm painting. I am hoping it will be on display for your showing on March 24th. Thanks for posting.
